I am blessed.
I have an involved dad that would do anything for me.
He might not be happy about it but he'll do it.
This is imperative because it sets up a standard for me in regards to how my son gets treated. His dad has an older child. His dad , the other "brother" and the mom do family type stuff. Being that my child is 4 and hers is 11 it creates friction. But hey no one told her to still be with him. So, as a result they do family stuff without my son.
Today, for example, is fathers day. My son has yet to be with his "father" on fathers day. The past 3 years i never even got a reply to a text or a response from a text as to when to drop him off or anything.
I can't properly vent to anyone because everyone says " let it go", "who cares?"
I care
My son deserves better. Why is one son better than the other?
"Let it go" how exactly? How can I not let it bother me that one child means more than the other?
